Welcome to LaTour Vineyards

Our passion for hospitality and knowing a great meal is not complete without a great wine, led my wife, Barbara and me, to develop a wine that we’d be proud to serve to our friends yet affordable enough to share. We started by growing grapes at our home in St. Helena in 1990. We soon became hooked on the deep satisfaction that we get from sharing something we’ve made with our own hands – especially something as wonderful as wine and expanded our vineyard with property on Napa Valley’s Mount Veeder. As former CEO and Chairman of the Kimpton Group, I was honored to help make Kimpton an industry leader in boutique hotels and chef-driven restaurant concepts.
